From December to March, Full Moon Resort, nestled in a valley surrounded by snow-caps, is a magical world of its own - a perfect setting for destination winter weddings in the Catskill Mountains. Picture a weekend of friends and family enjoying the splendor of the property's snow-covered lawns and meadows, fireside gatherings, comfortable guest rooms and excellent cuisine - all wrapped in the warm blanket of a very special celebration of love.
For weekend wedding events, guests arrive on Friday to a fireside winter barbeque followed by the evening glow of a campfire. After a comfortable nights sleep in one of the facility's lodges or cottages, guests wake up to a full country breakfast. Acres of fields, and gentle slopes are just right for cross country skiing and snowshoeing (Guests must bring equipment). For downhill skiers, Belleayre Mountain, is just fifteen minutes from Full Moon. And for those who simply prefer the comforts of the inn, complimentary hot chocolate, coffees and teas are available throughout the day.

The Saturday winter wedding format is as follows:
- Ceremony: Chairs and set up provided
- Cocktail Hour with service of two passed hors d'oeuvres and one tabled hors d'oeuvres presentation, along with full open bar.
- Wedding Dinner and Dancing, including choice of two entrees, two sides, salad, bread, dessert and coffee services, along with two hours of open bar, in the newly renovated Reception Barn.
- After Party in the Performance Space (see image at right), included full PA system, stage and dance lighting. Clients have the option to purchase additional bar time.
On Sunday morning, guests arise to a "farewell brunch" in the Café amidst warm hugs and fond goodbyes.
As an added bonus, for couples who book a winter wedding, Full Moon offers a complimentary seven night stay at its lovely honeymoon cottage on St. John, in the U.S. Virgin Islands: New Moon Cottage - St. John. This offer (subject to cottage availability from May to December) is available to wedding couples who book a full weekend wedding with at least a 70 person minimum guest count.
